The Historic Pitman Training Brand has arrived in 1066 Country
Pitman Training, the UK’s leading office, IT and business skills training provider, has opened a new centre in Hastings to address the training needs of the local community as well as tapping into the requirements of local businesses.
To mark the opening of the centre, Pitman Training is offering 20% off all courses for everyone signing up.
The centre, based Cambridge Road, Hastings, offers local residents and businesses the chance to study the latest high quality courses in office, IT and business skills.
Pitman Training offers courses that cater to a range of skills, as well as offering flexible learning options so clients choose when and how they learn.
Hastings centre manager Kelly DeRosa is excited about what the new Pitman Training centre has to offer the local community. “All Pitman Training courses are flexible, so candidates can come into the centre at their convenience and work through the courses as quickly or as slowly as they want to. The courses cater for everyone, whether you’re looking to brush up on basic computer skills after several years out of an office environment or perhaps studying for a diploma to pursue an entirely different career!”
Before getting down to serious study, a member of staff will make sure each prospective student will get the maximum benefit from their Pitman Training course, and will spend time working out which course best suits the candidate’s needs. From an initial phone-call, eager students can be at the centre and working towards their new qualification within 24 hours.
Kelly who researched the local jobs market before setting up the new centre said: “The number of vacancies in the secretarial market in Hastings is huge. We’re keen to tap into this skills gap and help people who want nationally recognised certifications get their ideal job.”
Kelly also has big plans for the local business community. “There are numerous businesses in Hastings which cannot hope to compete in a global market unless they invest in up-to-the-minute training and development for their staff. I believe there is a great deal of potential to communicate just how important the offer of training is, not just in terms of the long term financial benefits, but also in increasing the motivation and morale of employees.”
