Video Keywords

Most of you are aware of Google’s Keyword tool, a fantastic piece of software that gives webmasters the ability to analyse the usage of specific keywords. Please note, to view the actual figures we need to uncheck ‘Broad’ and enable ‘Exact’. This tool is very useful for our keyword research analysis. Of course it’s one thing to source top quality keywords and another to get them to rank highly.

What people are less aware of is the keyword tool available for You Tube https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool this piece of software is very similar to Google’s, we still however need to click ‘Exact’ if we want to display the actual usage for each individual keywords/longtails.

My advice on video is simple, follow the same principles as you would a web page

1. Produce videos in areas of actual demand (keyword related)
2. Naturally add keywords to the videos title and description
3. Add keyword related tags
4. Generate IBL’s (Inbound Links)

If viewing figures are good with low bounce rates Google will look favourably on your video and display them within their search engine results.

You Tube is now the 2nd strongest search engine in the world, to that end we should be taking advantage of it, however to do so effectively we need to operate in an efficient manner.

If you have any questions on the optimisation of videos drop me a line on info@businessservicesuk.com
