The Classified Section

With the high tech age we live in, it is easy to overlook one of the most basic advertising venues available: the classifieds. Every newspaper has a classified section where people can list ads for just about everything from items they want to buy, to items they want to sell and services that are being offered. The only downside to the classified section of your local newspaper is the cost of placing an ad.

Luckily the classifieds have found their way to the internet and there are plenty of free classified listings that you can submit to. Remember, the goal is to make your business easy to find and to get the word out about your services. Listing your site with a free classified service is the best way to do both. When you list with the free classifieds (like the ones on Business Services UK) you are reaching many potential new clients and business contacts. You are also creating links to your site, which makes it climb through the ranks in the search engines. Your goal is to be present—both in person and on the internet and free classifieds are a way to do just that.
