SEO Friendly or USER Friendly
What’s more important A search engine friendly website or a website that is logical and user friendly It would seem a strange question to raise as the answer is simple, they both are, so what was the point raising it in the first place In our experience the UK’s online SME sector is divided into two specific groups. Corporate websites that offer fantastic products and services on solid platforms but lack any kind of search engine visibility and search engine friendly websites that have been built solely to please search engines, these are often illogical and poorly constructed. So how is the middle ground found Basically this is achieved by getting back to basics, the starting point should based around what visitors want to see, combining this data with solid keyword research.
This analysis should then form the cornerstone for an online ventures improvement strategy. It takes time but slowly by improving both aspects will a website start firing on all cylinders. Eventually you will get to the optimum state, where a website is visible on search and converts with ease. Of course the task will never end, continual improvement will always be the way ahead.
