Pageranking Update 2011
Rumours are flying round the SEO community that Google are currently updating their Pageranking system. This news obviously gets the herd excited, a rise in PR may generate more interest from advertisers. That said with Google’s purge on paid links still active, on-site advertising is not as lucrative a proposition as it once was. Most people believe the risk is not worth the hassle.
For the majority of us the reading on Google’s green bar is totally irrelevant, we are more interesting in search engine positioning, visitor trends, bounce rates and conversion ratios. If we can achieve this by employing a company that provide low cost SEO services, then all the better. So whilst the world jumps up and down about the green bar reading the rest of us can concentrate on more important matters.
