Invest in Your Website
Too many people join the online business community with little to no working capital. This ultimately leaves them with a poorly constructed website one that struggles to please search engines and visitors alike. Many experiment with PPC but find it a waste of money. To succeed in today’s climate an online business will require a modest amount of working capital.
As an example, at BSUK we produce top quality search engine friendly websites for approx £1000, of course these can be replicated for £300 - £400, but the cheap versions just don’t convert. The designers at the bottom end of the food chain, do one thing, they produce what’s at best described as the electronic version of a business card.
As search becomes more competitive, it will naturally require more capital investment just to give new ventures the chance of succeeding. If you have a few hundred pounds in your pocket and have dreams of making your millions online, do yourself a favour and buy a playstation, it will be far less stressful and in the end you will at least have something to show for it. If you have no option but to go with the low cost road, your main routes to market will be social media and business forums, it’s a tough road, a few make it, most don’t.
