Google and Dual Standards
It is well documented that Google dislikes paid links that influence page ranking. Google even have a form where webmasters can report sites that offering a paid link services. It may surprise people to read that Google also offers paid links from its Global Enterprise Solution system. If accepted, a company will be able to list an advert on Google’s Global Enterprise Solution web page; these links are displayed as a ‘do-follow’. Cost of Submission. Search: $10,000 per year Apps: $5,000 per year I am sure this news will be not be well received by the directory network, especially the owners of the high ranking directories that have been issued with a Google penalty for selling their own links. Is this really a case of do as I say, not as I do?
