Drive and Ambition
In my line of work I come across many gifted individuals, this can range from people who have been very successful in the corporate world, to young men and women who turn their dream of owning a successful online business into reality. Today I had an interesting conversation with Jonathan Bellwood the owner and founder of Peoplevox (www.peoplevox.co.uk) he explained that during a period of a few years he had read and digested 1000’s of business related books, not only that he also contacted most of the authors to discuss their work. Jonathan’s idea was to build up a sound knowledge base by learning from the positive work and mistakes made by others.
Seldom do we see this kind of ambition in any individual, it certainly made me sit up and take notice. In the days where online successes can come fairly easy it’s a stark reminder that the top performers really do put the hard yards in. Working on the Peoplevox project is certainly an interesting one, the company have so many innovative ideas it’s unbelievable, without doubt the next few years are going to be very interesting.
One thing’s for sure, when this company hit the high notes, it will be well deserved.
