Basics of Search Engine Optimisation

Patience really is key to success as far as Internet marketing is concerned, this mixed with a sound strategy and good work ethic is the only way to guarantee your online venture will succeed in the future. Of course we all want our websites to rank highly, however very few people are willing to accept the hard work and time required to get there. Search engines are intelligent mathematically based platforms, that have the ability to distinguish between genuine growth and manipulation. This is why taking a long term ethical approach will always pay dividend in the end.

Generally speaking most people are happy to put in the odd bit of link building, however very few are willing to add good quality unique content on a regular basis. This is the wrong way forward as content has become one of the most important factors in the process of improving a websites ranking.

My own view is to look at a website as a vehicle, with links and content being the fuel to drive it, regardless how well a site is built if it does not have fuel, it will be going nowhere, on the reverse side, if a vehicle is poorly built and full of fuel, it will drive but not very well.

My advice is simple, back your strategy, work hard and believe in your online venture.
