Are You a Dream Chaser or a Realist?
The Internet is the perfect platform for business expansion or a person wanting to start an online venture on limited funds. People from all walks of life are drawn to the net in the same way gold diggers dropped everything and rushed to San Francisco in the early 1900's. How difficult can it be, all a person needs is a website and hey presto, sit back and wait for the money to flood in, as strange as this sounds it's a strategy used by the vast majority of online operators. Luck aside, the main difference between a successful entrepreneur and a person destined to fail, is their approach.
The entrepreneur will move at a steady pace, understanding or having people around that understand how to: Define if the business is viable Produce a search engine, user friendly website Optimise a website on and offline Market a product and and offline In contrast the failure will base their judgment on set up costs and getting their idea moving as quickly as possible. There will be no prior research just the dream of untold riches. Rest assured there is no blueprint for success as far as the Internet is concerned, however by taking a systematic, patient approach it will serve you well in the future, it will certainly save you money. Over 90% of our clients need extensive work on their websites, this is done to redress the balance and put the odds back in their favour, in most cases this work could have been avoided. If you want to avoid the tag of, 'just another failure', make sure you cover all angles, certainly before you commission the services of a designer also carry out plenty of research and if required hire the right people.
