Are You Maximising Your Position?
Be under no illusion, being highly ranked in Google is an enviable position for any business, to take advantage of this we need to maximise our position. Ask yourself this, will a business convert more leads or make more sales by portraying the image of a one man band setup or an established larger organsisation? I would certainly say the latter.
So what can be done to take advantage of the faceless aspect of the Internet?
Constantly work on the content of your site, words like, call our helpdesk, visit our store, contact us and a member of our staff will reply shortly, will all help with the portrayal of size
Telephone calls, answer machines with multiple options give a caller the perception there are many departments to your business. Highlight the fact you provide business to large organisations. None geographical phone numbers can be beneficial
As our business grows, you need to grow with it, when out and about highlight the fact you own a successful business, always have a few business cards in your pocket.
Rest assured if other people were in your position they would use everything at their disposal to maximise their position.
