Marketing Emails
At least once a day I receive an email from a friend or client asking me to check over an email they have received from a marketing company, the question is generally the same, what do you think of this Pete.
My thoughts on any email from a marketing company selling services is simple, if the organisation cannot generate clients from their own websites, how good is their skill set.
Only yesterday I received an email from a link building company, stating they had a database of 40,000 links. I checked their link profile and found they only had 6 backlinks, bizarre
I do imagine there are a good companies out there that send out marketing emails, that said they will be in the minority.
My advise to anyone would be to ignore all marketing emails, if you are contemplating hiring the services of a marketing company, go to Google, type in 'Internet Marketing' or 'Search Engine Optimisation' the companies listed on the first 10 pages have a great understanding of the business. The rest, well it will just be a punt.
